Greetings all.  I just wanted to give folks an update on our situation at The Fort Findlay Playhouse...

As many of you know we lost a great deal during the flood Findlay, Ohio had on August 21st.  In our warehouse we lost about 80% of the set peices and 90% of the props (costumes and furniture sections were on the second floor and spared).. At the theater  we lost our basement which, contains not only our dressing rooms, restrooms, furnace, and kitchen but our intermission/board room/meeting space... Water came to within two inches of the ceiling... and those two inches would probably have meant the loss of the building.

Prior to the flood we were about three weeks into rehearsals for Little Shop of Horrors... Those rehearsals obviously went on hold for a while and then resumed as soon as we could get back into the building.  With most of the set built and costumes gathered prior to the flood, it was decided that it would be the first show when we were able to re open...
Well, the basement is almost finished and the show is just about ready and I am thrilled to announce that Little Shop will open on the 29th of November and run through the 15th of December...
