MARSHALLTOWN COMMUNITY THEATRE© 

presents

Wealthy & divorced Mimi Ralston hosts a dinner party in honor of the conservative and all too stodgy parents of her daughter's fiancé. Being a bit of a "loose cannon" herself, she hires a stunt waiter to insult her guests and possibly even spill soup on the stuffed-shirt future in-laws, the Calthorpes. MEANWHILE, her daughter Edie fears her mother will NEVER tolerate these future in-laws, & hires two actors to impersonate the Calthorpes. All goes as planned until the REAL Calthorpes arrive with their son. Thereafter, the mistaken identities escalate until all is in a state of hilarious confusion, going downhill with a vengeance. 

Will there still be a marriage?
Will Mimi survive the facade??
Will the Calthorpes ever eat soup again???
