I thought I would pass something along that I thought was an amazing discovery. I found a website that sells little rivets to construct things out of refrigerator boxes. I am not associated with this person, so am not trying to sell them.
The website has photos and designs for constructing castles, fire engines, ships out of refrigerator boxes. The rivets are not necessary, but look like an added benefit as far as strength and support. I plan to use the concept to construct the swiss cottage for my "Heidi" production out of refrigerator boxes. The website even offers advice/tips on how to get refrigerator boxes from your community. That equates to free!! The website is: http://www.mrmcgroovys.com/about.htm I hope this can help someone else on a tight budget with their production! Kim | |

| Wow, HIGHLY cool! I'm forwarding this on right now to the music director/set designer of our next show -- he's always doing cool stuff with cardboard, but nothing like this! | |
