I am planning on producing a play at a 501c3 theatre in Santa
Monica. I am under the impression they will require us to form a
completely separate production company, though we have a
very close relationship and they may front us a portion of the
budget in exchange for the box office.

Other than that, our entire budget will be raised from charitable
donations and we will operate under the Equity Waiver
contract.

I am in the earliest possible stages of this and could use any
advice you might have as to standard practices.? I would also
appreciate suggestions as to books or websites that might be
helpful.
