Hello, I have recently been given the role of the Storyteller in Once on this island. I am a first year HS student and I am unsure of the role.

The storytellers were quite significant when my daughter's church choir did this play. Very important part of the story...and yes they sing.

Can anyone tell me if the storyteller gets to sing? Is this a role with substance to it? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
