Hello,

I wrote a family comedy script/play that I would like a few people to read to give me feedback.  I'm one of those aspiring writers.  I've written 3 movie type scripts.  The fourth story I wrote with producing it a community theater in mind.  I've been involved with the local community theater for about 3 years, starting out singing and moving into tech.  The group has pulled off some amazing stuff.  The story I wrote would push them to the limit but not cross it.  Even if the local theater approved it tomorrow, it would be 10 months before it would be produced which leaves plenty of time for rewrites. 

I'm trying to get some of my screenwriting friends to read it, but I'd like to see what some other folks on the theater side say about it.  I'm not necessarily looking for professional writers' feedback.  I just want to know what people "in the trenches" think about it.  Don't be bashful.  I've shown it to a couple of writers and their mixed reactions were "I loved it!" and "I tried to laugh but..."  I've done enough amateur writing to develop a thick skin when it comes to critiques.  Add a reply or email me if you are interested in reading for me.
