Topic: Black Parent Leather Shoes

Has anyone ever done the show "Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up"? I have the script and the cd and I really like it alot. Someone saw it and recommended it to me. If you did it, how well was it recieved? Were the shoes hard to make? Just tell me about your experience with the show.

Sorry Slick!

I don?t know the show - But I have a pair of Black Patent leather shoes, that I wear on opening nights, But I?m ancient!

However I would not like to try & making them! - It would be easier to pick up them up second hand from a charity shop. The men?s shoes are scarcer than hens teeth, where as the Ladies shoes are relevantly easier to find. In most cases they are only simulated leather plastic composites. The real stuff, for men, at least, will cost you almost a gold brick!

?Do they reflect up?? - not really, as it?s only just a diffused image - Oh sorry Slick! - I?m a yo-yo?I see now, that?s just the title!

Thanks for the chuckle Gaafa! Actually the show calls for big oversized shoes that they all wear for a dance number. Just as a point of information - the show is about a group of kids who go to a Catholic school. It's a musical. It begins when they are in kindergarten and follows them all through high school. The idea of the black patent leather shoes is that they weren't allowed to wear them to school cause the nuns said that the boys could look up their skirts with them. LOL!!

That reminds me of the time on ?Short order? Parade, in the ?Highlanders?. The RSM always had a clip on mirror, he wore on his boot, to check on who was dressed in short order properly & wearing only the kilt!

Invariably it was always on early mornings that were fresh & breezy around the nether regions?.!

However with your problem of the shoes - you could spray them with a Polyester vanish, which will give the reflective quality or use an over-shoe in plastic material. - Try galoshes vanished?
