Is anyone from near Waterloo? We are considering a move there for my husbands job and I'm wondering what the "scene" as it were, is like. Anybody know anything about the Old Creamery or whatnot?

I live about 1-1/2 hour from the area. Both Waterloo and Cedar Falls have good sized, very active community theatres. Old Creamery Theatre is a professional not-for-profit in Amana. Great place. Year round tourist destination. Everybody loves it. |

Plan a trip over to Ames if you are indeed nearby. I do need to make a community theatre trek around the state to see other orgs.

Old Creamery is a nice theatre - but that would be about an hour drive from Waterloo. Wouldn't it KathyS or am I wrong? (I'm terrible with travel time estimates!) Check out some of these links if you haven't already.
