My first post.  Pleased to meet you all. The brain's not working this Sunday am and I refuse to push it on my day of rest...so....any suggestions for a romantic comedy, preferably with six characters or more (gotta keep the "actors" busy.) Thanks in advance.

"I Hate Hamlet" - six characters - quite romantic - and one of the
funniest plays ever. Several OUTRAGEOUS characters - and even the 'leading man and lady' are anything but generic. http://www.playdatabase.com/play.asp?play=72F388FF-FA0D- 4389-B378-315099EB7AA4

If you're still looking for a romantic comedy - try Sabrina Fair by Samuel Taylor.  A little dated, but with the right actors and director, it could be a big hit.  Audiences will remember either of the two movie versions (original had Audrey Hepburn, the more rect, Harrison Ford-not as Sabrina, but Linus).

| I've only read it, but I loved Goodbye Charlie. I want to do it some day at our theatre. The play reads much better than the movie. | |

How about "Romantic Comedy" by Bernard Slade?

You've got to check out "Dearly Beloved" by the same playwright who did "Dearly Departed."  This new one rocks! and has a large cast.  It's JUST been published and has a sequel that's already scheduled to have a world premiere!  I'm telling you, this one's hilarious!  Look at the website www.JezebellesInk.com and see if you don't agree with me.  Break a leg and good show!  Rachel B
