We're seeking a large fully-retractable (think Asian suicide) prop knife for our production of M. Butterfly - either borrow, rent or purchase - depending on the price. Production dates are April 29th through May 14, 2005 in Nashville, TN. Thanks, all. |

For all my unusual prop needs I have a shop near by that is a combination Halloween costume/magic prop shop. I am sure there must be something similar in your area. I'd check there, at least to start. Good Luck! |

Check out www.nightmarefactory.com for their
selections of weapons. They advertise a 10" knife with a 4" retractable blade. I'm sure you could decorate this to resemble more closely what you're looking for. www.fxsupply.com offers helpful instructional videos on making your own props, prosthetics, breakaways, etc. Good luck! |
