Topic: What brand wireless mics? Posted: 3/20/16 at 10:48am |
Our group is going to be getting new wireless mics. Ours are old and unreliable. We got them in 2003 MIPRO single or fixed frequency. Lots and lots of issue.
What do you use? What do you recommend and Why and pros and cons of what you are using. We are looking at spending $500-$600 per wireless wireless mic set up. This is the receiver, the transmitter, and the lavilier. Thanks! Ty |

Sennheiser EW100 or Shure ULX-D. Though I prefer the sound of Sennheiser handhelds, there are advantages to the Shure system (no antenna distro needed, four channels in one rack space), so that might be the smart way to go.

The Sennheiser EW100s are a favorite in my area for lavaliere microphones (I don't have any experience with their handheld mikes). The latest ones (generation 3, I think) will probably run a little over your budget but they've been solid in the two local groups I work with that use them.
