I'd say get a good headshot and write a resume with everything: high school, dinner theater and murder mystery roles as well as your classes and workshops.  What the heck.  It costs ten cents a page to change your resume if you need to.  Plus, you can volunteer for a community theater and put that on your resume, too.  I doubt you need to submit a request to help paint or strike, even in Seattle.  If you need to narrow it down focus on auditioning for shows with big casts.

Speaking just for myself as a  community theater director I can figure out what you look like and what you can do from an audition.  I'm only interested in past work to know that you have successfully completed a show or shows with all the unique challenges that involves.

Of course, I don't have the luxury of being somewhere where you can demand a headshot and resume and an official "request to audition."  We're frequently beating the bushes for men (for example) and I know other theaters in the area have the same dilemma.

 If you had that kind of experience and showed me something, I would cast you!!  Like most groups, am always looking for new people, men a plus, attitude a huge plus. Go for it.
