I'm losing my music director and my art director. But I have a fabulous male and a fabulous female lead. What small, EASY musical can I do? I'm thinking Little Shop of Horrors. I also thought Cinderella but it is restricted.

There's no such thing as an EASY musical. - And Little Shop of Horrors is nowhere near "small" nor "easy" - especially with no Art Director..
SMALL is The Fantasticks or I Do, I Do or The Last Five Years or Dames at Sea or Guttenberg - The Musical, and you might even expand the definition to include The Drowsy Chaperone. - Or try for the "review" type shows: Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris or Songs for a New World. Or maybe you could just stage a "Concert" version of any old musical you feel like. It works well enough with Les Miserables every ten years or so. |

If you just want to showcase your two leads without taking on the entire undertaking of a musical, you might want to consider a concert show like "Side by Side by Sondheim." You can put a little into each number, it's entertaining, and it won't kill you.
