We are planning an upcoming production of Sweeney Todd and there are two orchestrations available.  Has anyone worked with the alternate orchestration?  I am curious how people feel it stands up against the standard orchestration.  It is written for less musicians and less doublings.  Any thoughts?  From your experience, which would you recommend?
