If you have experience directing or with special effects with the RSC version of this show, I'd LOVE to get your opinions and thoughts.   This will prove to be a challenge for us and I'd like to benefit from your experience and wisdom if you are of the mind.

VPA1, David is right, we are usually able to help a lot more when we all collaborate.  But my main point for responding is to let you know that there is a HUGE amount of discussion on this site already on Wizard of OZ...  Just do a search and you will find tons.  However, we are all willing to discuss it again I'm sure. I have done the show a few times. (most recently on a stage with no fly and no wing, yet we got it all on the stage with some fairly cool special effects.  Tell us your situation and your concerns and I'm sure the right suggestion will be here to fill your need.
