Community Theater Green Room Discussion Board: designing blueprints for my stage play

Message

   Hi, I need to find out where I can get pictures or blueprints of sceneries. I wrote a play that and I need to have the flats build. I was either visionng the right stage as a livingroom and kitchen area. The left stage as a church with a door on both sides. Or if it is possible to have one side the livingroom and dinning area and when rotated the other side the church. If anyone can tell me where I can go to get some ideals, I would greatly apprieciated it.

	Try google images for other shows with similar sets. You can also try designing yourself with Google Sketch Up. It is a free download.

	http://theatre.sjsu.edu/~culley/PartsFlat.html You could think about using Cortec Scenery Dependant upon the width of your stage space, you could do a split set, focussing the lighting to depict the 2 seperate acting areas. Or utalise you may be ablle to produce a periactio {[revolving multi flats] as mentioned by David on a previous topic} or Medicci style wings. Can you give a wee bit more info of size of area?
