Community Theater Green Room Discussion Board: Middle School Theater Competition

Message

   The high school in our south Georgia town is very active in the Georgia High school one act competition. I would love for my middle school group to compete but I have had a lot of problem finding the competitions for middle school students out there. Do you all  know of any competitions in GA for middle school students??

	There is a national version that might interest you--its this time in Florida... Junior Thespian Festival sponsored by Educational Theatre Association. Here's a link: http://www.edta.org/educational_events/junior.aspx Related: Georgia Thespians has a Junior Tech Challenge and a playwrite project, etc.. Not performance challenges that I see per se...but the Junior Conference does have Audition, Singing, Dancing, Cold script reading competitions.
