Thank you, David, and to all of you who have responded to my questions. The information you've provided is going to be a big help as we attempt to decide whether or not to pare down our upcoming season. We're squeezing blood from a stone!

We have recently revamped our season to be as follows:
9 mainstage productions, 7 performances each (2 weekends)
4 children's workshop productions (1 weekend for performances 3-5 shows, depending on the size of the cast)
2 one-act play weekends (one weekend of performance each)
1 1/2 day workshops (one adult, one for kids)
We have a 93-seat performance space and recently acquired a large room next door for extra rehearsal space. We lease our building.

We manage a 350 seat auditorium and have a rehearsal hall that can accommodate black box productions, although it is seldom used for such.

1. How long is your season (months)?
2. How many different productions are included in your season?
2. How many performances per production?
1. our first show goes up in januray always a dinner theatre
2. we do a dinner thetare in january, and stage play in april/may, another dinner theatre in august, a childrens show in august and a stage show in November
3. we usually do 5-6 performances for stage plays, dinner theatres are performed at local restaurnat venues and those perfrormancers vary from 4-8 teh childrens show follows a week long workshop and gets one showing. musicals(when we do them) get 6 performances and we always plan for more.
we are a small group in a small town but are fortunate to own our own theatre, an old converted barn (we just bought it:))
