   Need multiple "trumpets" for Church pageant - only for looks, not playing

Straight plastic stadium horns - too cheaply built, wont last, can't decorate well.
We currently use "heavier duty" stadium horns, with figuring, that look like a Tibetan "Rag Dung" - but we still only get a few years of use out of each horn before they start cracking. Here's a pic of the real version of what we have in plastic:

So we are looking for about a dozen of these, approx 36 - 45" long. 
Wouldn't mind purchasing the real thing, but we don't have $1500 US in our budget for props like this.

Any thoughts?? Thanks,

	see if there is someone in your area that does mold making- there are a lot of products out there to make a mold from one item and cast copies of the item in the mold. Take a look at http://www.smooth-on.com/ for examples of products to use to make the mold, as well as the casting products to get the blanks that would then be finished. Marsha

	We just made one for a fun bit in one of our shows... My wife sewed a banner for under it, but Pdavis69 built it out of PVC pipe.. I'm sure he would tell you how next time he is through here...
