Community Theater Green Room Discussion Board: technical direction portfolio

   If this is a bit off topic please excuse me.  I am looking for some information on creating a technical direction portfolio I am a high school senior and I will be applying to many schools as a technical direction major.  I have a few specific questions

1) What would recommend including?

2) As for large drafts how would you recommend including them? Would you recommend making smaller copies that could more easily fit into the portfolio?

3) Would you recommend writing some type of paragraph that describes the show and problems that arose as well as how I fixed them.

If any one has a technical direction portfolio online I would love to see it I have looked for some online but they simply have pictures and I know that there is certainly more to a portfolio than that.

	I really don't have a clue, but that has never stopped me from having an opinion. Here are some thoughts: Everything is electronic. You may want to get a website and a DVD. Even if you have hard copies of items you should have a reference to your website. Have a head shot taken. You're going to be taking to people. Help them remember who you are are with a picture. Make sure your name and contact info is on it. Personally I think a business card is good, too. Write a good resume`. I'll let others discuss your pictures and drawings.
