Hello Directors!
I'm going to be holding audition shortly for BABES IN TOYLAND. I expect about 150 persons to audition over two days. I am tired of cold reads and monologs and singing your fav song. Any unique ideas for conducting auditions? Fun for the participants yet revealing for me? Let me know what works best for you! I'd love to hear from you! Thanks! |

For a few shows in the past I've done some improv or small group exercises for auditions in lieu of/addition to readings or songs. Granted, I never had 150 people come thru the door, so something along those lines might be time prohibitive.
