Community Theater Green Room Discussion Board: Gooney Bird Greene

   If anyone is interested in doing a great show with lots of kids that will have them rolling in the aisles, might I suggest Gooney Bird Greene and Her True Life Adventures.  OMG ... funny?!  I have been stressing over this production since July, but it's all somehow come together beautifully and has them laughing so hard I want to pass out Depends!
My group is aged 8-19 (mostly 8-12), but I can only imagine what an older (perhaps more experienced group) could do with this show.  The "students" have so many possibilities ... ADHD student, nerd, brainiac, bashful kid, etc ... To date, our most popular performance yet!

The downside is all the props and sound effects ... VERY specific sound effects, and most of the props must be created.

	Yes jayzehr ... it was. I guess I'm just too much of a perfectionist. Either that or the kids respond more to the fact that someone else has their lines!
