Has anyone done this play (The Bible in 30 Minutes or Less)? I'm interested in the pros and cons.

I'd like to know abou this, too. Is it something that can be marketed to conservative Christians?

From what I've learned, it's been staged quite often by Christian Academies and other church schools. If you haven't read the sample on Playscripts.com, you have to. Simply hysterical! :o)

I've read this but I haven't performed it yet. I think it would have to be done very cleanly (not clean as in not offensive but clean as in directing) Does that make sense? There is so much going on at once everything would have to be super clear so it wouldn't be confusing - maybe have characters wear big name tags or something.

I know this is an old post, but I wanted to chime in. There is another script along the same line. The name of the script is The Bible: The complete Word of God (abridged), from Broadway Play Publishing INC.

It is a VERY funny script - with a cast of 3. I used it for high school speech team / HDA (humorous duet) competition. It had to be cut considerably because of the 8 minute time limit, but if you did the full script it would be about an hour (79 written pages of script).

Personally, I consider myself to be a conservative Christian and I thought it was very funny.
