Our group is looking at this play to produce, but after reading it we are worried about the length. The director says it is three hours long, which we scares us.

Has anyone had experience with this production? Was length a problem? It is our first strong outreach into the African-american community, and we want it to be a success.

Any ideas?suggestions? Thanks
