Is there anything out there (posted or in your big ol' brains) having to do with a timeline to get things done? I'm searching for a blackline master that I can print out and fill in so I don't forget something really important - like "send out first press release", or "tickets now available", or even "start thank you notes to the cast and crew" ~ something like all those books out there on planning a wedding. I am the _____ (fill in the blank with any job you can imagine and it's probably me doing it) and find myself so in the weeds come tech week that I can't sleep.
I know I can write one up (in all my free time), but really don't want to reinvent the wheel if it's already out there someplace.

I have what we call "The Producer's Notebook". It has step by step what our producers do. It does not include a timeline, but does have just about everything else in the order it should be done in. If you want I can send you a copy. I have it in PDF. Linda

I have a publicity time line for our shows. I have to dig through my computer to get it though. I'll try to post it within the next few days for you.

I don't have any timelines/schedules available to post, however, there are two books I highly recommend for running a theater. The first is the more common The Stage Management Handbook by Daniel A. Ionazzi. The other is The Theater Management Handbook by Richard W. Schneider and Mary Jo Ford. Both of these books give wonderful suggestions and ideas as well as many forms that can be copied to be used in running a theater.

The two greatest days in a theater persons life, the day you start a new show and the day the damn thing closes.
